Step 1: Order and Design
Confirm the customer’s requirements, including size, pressure rating, material, and connection type of the plunger valve. Then prepare drawings, technical parameters, and production plans before manufacturing.

Step 2: Forging & Casting
Select suitable raw materials for the plunger valve body, bonnet, and other main parts. The body and bonnet are usually made by casting or forging to ensure enough strength and pressure resistance.

Step 3: Machining
Carry out machining on the valve body, bonnet, stem, seat, and sealing parts of the plunger valve. This step includes turning, drilling, boring, threading, and flange facing to make sure all dimensions meet the drawing requirements.

Step 4: Assembly
Assemble all finished parts, including valve body, bonnet, stem, plunger, sealing components, and handwheel. During plunger valve assembly, special attention should be paid to sealing accuracy and smooth operation.

Step 5: Testing & Quality Assurance
Each plunger valve must undergo pressure test, sealing test, and operation inspection. Quality control checks dimensions, appearance, material certificate, and product performance to ensure the valve meets standards.

Step 6: Painting and Finishing
After inspection, clean the valve surface, apply anti-rust treatment, and carry out painting or coating as required. Finally, mark the product information, pack it properly, and prepare it for shipment.

Plunger valves are widely used in the oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, industrial automation, water treatment, metallurgy, and construction industries. They are suitable for media such as water, steam, oil, thermal oil, gas, and nitric acid, and are primarily used in small-diameter pipelines with pressures up to 16–25 kgf/cm² and temperatures below 250°C for opening, closing, and regulating flow.
