Bellows Seal Globe Valve with bellow seal acc.to is applicable to the cutting and connection of pipelines medium that are used in various industries such as petroleum, chemical industry, pharmacy, chemical fertilizer, electric power industry etc under nominal pressure of PN1.616MPa and working temperature of -29350℃.

Product Features

  • This product has logical structure, reliable seal, excellent performance and nice design.
  • The seal surface is build-up welding with Co hard alloy, which is attrition-resistant, corrosion-resistant, has good friction resistant and long life.
  • The stem is quenched and tempered, and its surface is treated by nitriding treatment, thus it has good corrosion resistant and friction resistant.
  • It has double seal capability, thus is more reliable.
  • The stem may show the position of lift, thus it is clearer.
  • The part material, flange and but weld end dimension may be selected according to current operating condition and users' requirement, so that meet the requirements of various engineering.

Manufacturing Process

Step 1: Order and Design

Based on the customer’s requirements for pressure rating, nominal diameter, material, connection type, and operating conditions, the structural design and technical specifications of the bellows globe valve are determined. Subsequently, drawing design, material confirmation, and production process review are completed to prepare for subsequent manufacturing.

Step 2: Forging & Casting

Major pressure-bearing components such as the valve body and bonnet are typically formed using forging or casting processes. For bellows globe valves, the chemical composition, dimensional accuracy, and internal density of the blanks must be strictly controlled, and necessary heat treatment must be performed to ensure strength and sealing reliability.

Step 3: Machining

Precision machining is performed on the valve body, bonnet, stem, sealing surfaces, and connection ends, including turning, boring, drilling, tapping, and sealing surface finishing. Key machining focuses for bellows globe valves include stem fit accuracy, dimensional tolerances at the bellows connection points, and the surface finish of the seat sealing surfaces.

Step 4: Assembly

Assemble components such as the bellows assembly, valve stem, disc, bonnet, packing, and handwheel according to process requirements. During assembly, special attention must be paid to protecting the welded areas of the bellows, ensuring the concentricity of the valve stem, and verifying the smoothness of opening and closing operations to guarantee stable overall sealing performance.

Step 5: Testing & Quality Assurance

After assembly, the bellows globe valve undergoes body strength testing, seal testing, air tightness testing, and operational performance checks. Concurrently, in accordance with quality control procedures, inspections are conducted on critical dimensions, appearance, and material traceability to ensure the product complies with relevant standards and customer requirements.

Step 6: Painting and Finishing

After passing inspection, the valve surface is cleaned, treated with rust prevention, and spray-painted. Nameplates, markings, and packaging are then applied.
