Product overview

It's suitable for industries such as natural gas, oil, chemical, urban construction, environmental protection. And the antisulfur series can be applied to the natural gas transportation pipeline which includes lots of corrosive substance such as some impurity and H2S.

Product Features

Totally–enclosed body equipped with steel stem protective cap is able to use in various environment such as sand etc.
Through–conduit & full bore, large flow and low flow–resistance design. Through–conduit body with guide orifice may allow pipeline cleaning by go–gauge.
Multi–level of upstream and downstream sealing structure may automatically release over pressure when pressure abnormally rises.
An extension pipe with diffusion & blow–down structure may guarantee maintenance operation during long–term buried.
Where active sealing structure equipped with oil seal can give emergency sealing to satisfy demands of long–term safety services.
Valve equipped with opening and closing indicator may directly indicate service conditions.
The part material, flange and butt weld end dimension may be selected according to current operating condition and users' requirement, so that meet the requirements of various engineering.

High Pressure Slab Gate Valve

Product overview

The ZF series water injecting valves are high pressure flat-plate gate valves. with a reasonable structure, a reliable seal and an easy operation and the sealing face is built-up welded with carbide alloy, features anti-corrosion, anti-wear and anti-erosion and can be used for throttle, especially suitable for the water, oil, mud pulpy, natural gas pipeline as the open-close and adjusting device to control the medium flowing.

Main Characteristics

New balanced floating valve seat, two-way opening and closing, small friction between sealing pairs, long service life, reliable sealing, flexible opening and closing.
A diversion hole with the same diameter as the flow passage is opened at the lower part of the ram. When the valve is fully opened, it is a straight line with small flow resistance coefficient and almost no pressure loss. The pipeline can be cleaned through the ball.
Due to gateThe plate is always close to the sealing surface of the valve seat to protect the sealing surface of the valve seat from medium erosion and extend the service life of the valve.
The sealing surface of valve seat and ram is spray welded with cemented carbide, which is corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, erosion resistant and has long service life. The valve rod seal adopts compound seal, reliable seal and small friction resistance.
The valve is a fully enclosed structure, which prevents the external impurities from entering the inner cavity, effectively protects the internal parts and prolongs the service life of the valve.

Manufacturing Process

Step 1: Order and Design

Based on the customer’s pressure rating, nominal diameter, material, connection type, and operating conditions, we confirm the product’s technical requirements and complete the drawing design. For slab gate valves, the design phase also requires careful verification of the gate and seat sealing structures, as well as the stem dimensions, to ensure the valve delivers excellent sealing performance and stable opening and closing.

Step 2: Forging & Casting

Major pressure-bearing components such as the valve body and bonnet are typically formed using forging or casting processes, with raw materials required to meet relevant standards. After forming, the slab gate valve body blank undergoes heat treatment and a preliminary visual inspection to ensure its internal structure, strength, and dimensional allowances meet the requirements for subsequent machining.

Step 3: Machining

Precision machining is performed on components such as the valve body, bonnet, gate, seat, and stem, including turning, boring, drilling, milling, and sealing surface finishing. For slab gate valves, particular emphasis is placed on the machining accuracy of flow passages, guide grooves, and sealing surfaces during this stage to ensure smooth operation and effective bidirectional sealing.

Step 4: Assembly

After components pass inspection, they proceed to the assembly process, where the seat is installed, the gate is assembled, the stem is connected, the bracket is mounted, and the actuator is assembled in sequence. For slab gate valves, special attention must be paid during assembly to the clearance between the gate and the seat, as well as the proper installation of sealing components, to avoid compromising performance.

Step 5: Testing & Quality Assurance

After assembly, comprehensive testing is conducted, including dimensional checks, visual inspections, body strength tests, seal tests, and opening/closing operation tests. For slab gate valves, testing focuses on sealing performance, operating torque, and overall reliability to ensure the product meets API, ASME, or customer technical specifications.

Step 6: Painting and Finishing

After passing inspection, the valve surface is cleaned, treated with rust prevention, and painted, followed by the application of nameplates, markings, and final packaging. This step enhances the product’s aesthetic quality and corrosion resistance, ensuring the valve is well-protected during transportation and storage.
