Step 1: Order and Design
According to the customer's requirements, the specifications of the Three piece Ball Valve were confirmed, including the diameter, pressure rating, material, connection method and sealing requirements.
Subsequently, the engineering department completed the drawing design and process review, clearly defining the dimensions, tolerances and processing requirements of key components such as the valve body, ball, valve stem and valve seat, preparing for the subsequent production.

Step 2: Forging & Casting
The valve body of a Three piece Ball Valve is usually composed of three parts. The main components' blanks are formed through forging or casting methods.
Based on the material requirements, stainless steel, carbon steel or special alloys are selected to ensure that the blanks have good strength and pressure resistance performance. After the blanks are completed, they undergo preliminary cleaning and appearance inspection to prevent defects such as shrinkage cavities and cracks.

Step 3: Machining
The valve body, ball, valve stem and connection end of the Three piece Ball Valve are subjected to precise mechanical processing.
The processing includes turning, milling, drilling, tapping, precision finishing of the sealing surface, and polishing of the ball. This step focuses on ensuring the mating dimensions, surface roughness and the accuracy of the sealing surface to ensure that the valve operates flexibly and seals reliably.

Step 4: Assembly
The processed and qualified components are assembled to form a complete Three-piece Ball Valve.
During the assembly process, the valve seat, ball, valve stem, packing, gasket and fasteners are installed in sequence, and the three-piece valve body is locked with the specified torque. Special attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the parts and the assembly concentricity to avoid affecting the sealing performance.

Step 5: Testing & Quality Assurance
After assembly, the Three piece Ball Valve needs to undergo strict tests, including strength tests of the shell, sealing tests, air tightness tests and operation torque checks.
Quality personnel will also verify the dimensions, materials, appearance and markings to ensure that the product complies with relevant standards and customer requirements, and guarantees stable and reliable quality upon delivery.

Step 6: Painting and Finishing
After the product passes the inspection, it will undergo surface cleaning, labeling, packaging and final sorting.
If the customer has any requirements, the outer surface of the valve can be treated with painting, rust prevention, or special coating to enhance the appearance quality of the product and the protection performance during transportation and storage.
