Step 1: Order and Design
According to customer requirements, standards, pressure class, material, and face-to-face dimensions, the technical team confirms the production drawings and process plan for the ansi plug valve. At this stage, key details such as sealing structure, flange standard, port type, and operating mode are checked carefully before production begins.

Step 2: Forging & Casting
The main body, plug, bonnet, and other pressure-bearing parts of the ansi plug valve are produced by casting or forging according to the material specification. Common materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel. After forming, the raw parts are inspected to ensure there are no defects such as cracks, shrinkage, or porosity.

Step 3: Machining
All major components are machined with precision equipment, including the valve body cavity, flange ends, plug surface, stem hole, and sealing areas. During this stage, the dimensional accuracy and surface finish of the ansi plug valve are strictly controlled to ensure smooth operation and reliable sealing performance.

Step 4: Assembly
After machining and cleaning, all parts are assembled in sequence, including plug, stem, bearings, seals, gasket, bonnet, and actuator or handwheel. During assembly of the ansi plug valve, technicians adjust the matching tolerance and operating torque to make sure the valve opens and closes smoothly.

Step 5: Testing & Quality Assurance
Each ansi plug valve undergoes strict inspection and testing before delivery, such as shell test, seat sealing test, torque test, and dimensional check. Quality control personnel also verify material certificates, machining quality, and assembly condition to ensure the valve meets ANSI and customer requirements.

Step 6: Painting and Finishing
After final inspection, the valve surface is cleaned, painted, and marked. The finished valve is then packed with protective covers on both ends to prevent damage during transportation. Nameplate, heat number, pressure rating, and other required markings are added before shipment.
